Marketing is an art because creativity will help one person produce better results when two equally skilled marketers are both provided with the same marketing data.

Testing, tracking, measuring, and proven principles give us the science which helps to improve performance, and overall results with consistency.

Them fish just aint biting today!

To compare marketing to fishing, why does a pink lure attract some fish, some days and not others? What distinctions does the fish make that helps them to decide? There are so many factors to consider...

Do the fish like pink better on overcast days when the water temperature is 51 degrees? Do different fish of the same species in the same location have different preferences?

However just like fishing, marketing will always be an art form as there are some results that will continually defy explanation.  To truly become a student of marketing, you must first become a student of human nature. What makes people tick? How do we form distinctions and opinions about what something means to us? What causes a person to take action? What underlying factors motivate us in one direction or another?

Learn how to produce an immediate change in your business by changing the way you think about the people who buy your products and services.
